comic fiesta 2012 review part 2

For those that don't know what I'm talking about, either read my previous post which is below...I think. Or you could look up what comic fiesta is which is here: http://comicfiesta.org/2012/comic-fiesta-2012/

Okay, so, continuing from yesterday, after looking at all the figurines, swords and all that, me, Liver and Gazel came upon a stall that was selling many posters, cosplay, bags and other merchandise. Liver pressured me to buy some of the posters and I snapped pretty easily. I bought 3-5 different posters. 2 from Katekyou Hitman Reborn and 2 from Kuroshitsuji or Black Butler. While queuing up to pay, Liver freaked when she saw something from Assassin's Creed which was the hidden blade. She asked how much it costs and when she found out that it was RM198, she didn't feel like buying it. After that, we continued walking until we bumped into Nicole. By this time, my bag had my posters, a calender with Katekyou hitman Reborn pictures, some badges and keychains, and a few prints. Liver bought a cat tail and had made Gazel wear it since she was wearing a cat paw that she bought, and cat ears that she bought from last year's Comic Fiesta. After walking for a long time, we decided to eat so we headed for the cafeteria but it was full of people cause every year, there was two lines you absolutely HAD to go through when hungry UNLESS you brought your own food illegally. One of them is the line in the cafe which is IN the comic fiesta hall. Another is the line to get into the  hall if you went out. The line to get in usually starts getting insanely long at 12 and doesn't go down until it's almost 3-4. and sometimes even 5. We would have went out but Gazel and I had planned to do a gathering with GazettE fans. Because of this, we ended up staying inside and buying some drinks. They ran out of normal food and only had some fried junk left so we didn't really feel like eating. The line to pay wasn't any better but it was better than waiting outside in the hot sun. Liver and I couldn't stand the line so we opened our drinks before paying but we did pay for them so we didn't do anything illegal. I have to go to sleep now cause I'm going over to Liver's house for a sleepover tomorrow and I have to wake up early. I'll continue in my next post. Bye~

Busy busy busy and comic fiesta 2012 review part 1

Sorry I haven't wrote in awhile. I've been really busy with my school band, my birthday, comic fiesta and Gazel's birthday. So, if you don't know, I live in Malaysia and recently, there was this anime convention in KL which is called Comic Fiesta. I went on both days with my friends. On Saturday, we had to go really early cause we couldn't get the early bird tickets(we didn't buy it online so we had to wait). It sucked cause the 4 days before that, I had to wake up at 8 and go for band practice from 9 to 1. Then on Friday, I had to wake up at 5 but my mom woke us at 6 so I had half an hour to get ready and reach school cause we had a band exchange program. Anyway, back to Saturday, I woke at 6 and once again, had only half an hour to get to KL which was and hour away. Liver was already there when we got there and she was pissed cause we were an hour late. I was wearing some normal clothes which was a shirt, pants, slippers and a vest with a huge, beautiful cross with wings on the back~ Gazel was wearing her GazettE shirt and she had to hold a sign cause she planned to do a GazettE fan meeting during the comic fiesta. And lastly, Liver was wearing....well, a common thing at comic fiesta every year is that there are MANY cosplayers. Liver however, doesn't cosplay but she doesn't wear normal clothes either. She was wearing a white, frilly dress-shirt beneath a lab coat, a skirt, with shorts underneath(most likely), black and white striped socks with loafers....sneakers, a tiara that she wore sideways cause she had to do a lot of research on Belphegor to draw my birthday/Christmas present, and a giant pink teddy bear paw with bloody claws. I bring up again that we live in Malaysia and it is really hot all year round. She was wearing all that in the morning and it was around 28°C. So, there we were, waiting in line for awhile and the idiots in charge said that the line was somewhere else so we had to run all the way to the other line so that we could get to the front of the line again. Later, after complaining among ourselves, they said the line was now on the inside. Thankfully, Liver's mother cut into the line for us so we had a front spot in the line. At around 8, they moved the line again so it would be more compact because the line went all the way to the car park that was VERY far away. At around 8:30, I got annoyed and sat down on the floor and started playing my DS. The very same DS that I begged my parents to get for me for 6 years. I finally got it on my birthday~ XD My new baby! O__O Erm....O//A//O Ehem.....back to the morning. So, at 8:30, the lady in charge said that we could go in at 9:45 but we had to wait. I remember the times cause I remember being happy that we only had to wait for 15 minutes then realised that it was 8:30 and not 9:30.So, at 9:30, like she said, we all could go in.......in to another hall where we had to wait until 10:30. Me and the people that joined my "group" which was Gazel, Liver, her cousin and her cousin's friend.....boyfriend....I don't know. Anyway, so we had to wait for a long time and during the whole time, we were watching as cosplayers and people that had the earlybird ticket walk past us and into the other hall where the comic fiesta was being held. Other than that, we were bullying Gazel and Liver's cousin's friend as we jabbed him in the ribs as it seems that most people are sensitive there. He actually tried to surprise me by jabbing me there but I developed a slight immunity to it cause Liver's been jabbing me there for around 5 years. ......*read what I have just written* This is going to be loooooong... °^° Okay. I think I'm going to stop soon. I'll continue in another post. So, at around 10:30, after the 4th or 5th countdown to god knows what, they finally opened the booth for us to buy tickets. After that, we got a goodiebag and went in. All I have to say is that I didn't expect it to get so crowded so quickly. There was some people queuing up for some presentation thing but I didn't really pay attention to that. So, once actually inside, we saw many many many many booths. There were vocaloid figurines, bags, swords and many things on display. I think I'm going to stop here.

Yesterday's report and today's activities

So, if you read what I wrote last time, I went out yesterday. We went out to a theme park and it was fun...I almost puked =A=. I'm the type that is terrified on going to extreme rides but yesterday, I was just thrown out of my comfort zone. I went onto my usual rides which were the spinning, dizzy rides cause I'm okay with those but I also went on another few rides. I went on the ride that swings back and forth and does a few 360s. My glasses almost fell onto Hatsune Miku-chan's face and he almost drooled on mine when the ride spun the other way. Another ride was a ride that goes way up to the ceiling and spins around. Nee-chan(fake name and Gazel's boyfriend) was screaming cause he is VERY bad with heights. There were other rides too like the roller coaster but that is one ride I was NOT going to dare. Another ride I didn't go on was the DNA mixer which is a ride that would make anybody sick....anyone but Gazel. She's an animal. Anyway, the reason I didn't write yesterday was because when we got back, it was very late and I was dead tired. Okay, about today's activities, I had band practice in the morning so I had to wake up early. I dragged Gazel along just cause I could. We will be having band practice for the next 2 days cause on the 21st, a day after my birthday, we will be going to Malacca for the day as we are having a band exchange program. Anyway, I have to go now. Gazel's lying down so peacefully beside me that I feel like bugging her. Bye~

Tomorrow's plans

So, today was pretty normal so I have nothing extremely exciting to talk about...Well, actually, I just thought of something which is me and Gazel were talking with Hatsune Miku-chan(fake name) and he was very fun to talk too. Gazel has been trying to hook me up with him cause she's dating his best friend and when we went out last week, it was extremely awkward seeing her with her boyfriend while I'm following behind them slowly. Anyway, so, we were talking on Skype and he played his guitar.....I haven't played my guitar in years....I played it a week ago but before that..... my guitar teacher was from a guitar shop but it closed down and when it opened again, all the employees were different. Ever since then, I haven't really played my guitar. Okay, back to Miku-chan, we ended up talking a bit, Gazel was doing most of the talking, I ended up falling asleep cause I woke up early and had just finished Japanese class. Anyway, the reason why we actually have something tomorrow, and why we were actually talking to him was because they wanted to go out on the 20th(Thursday) but we couldn't go cause my parents wouldn't let us cause it was my birthday and it was also to a place quite far away and my parents didn't trust them. Okay, back to the plan, we plan on going to a theme park at Times Square and everything. We're planning on meeting with them around 2-3 and we'll be leaving before 6-8 cause my aunty and her family are coming over tomorrow for dinner. Anyway, I have to go now. Gazel's talking to her boyfriend and it's my job to bug her, Bye~

Cake in a mug?

Sooo...today, me, my brother and Gazel wanted to surprise my mother with a cake and since we can't actually cook, I slept and thought of two videos I saw by the people from the Sorted. The videos were making cakes using a few ingredients and using a microwave. The first one, we followed the chocolate video cause it had coffee in it. It did NOT turn out well. I tried a bit of it and it was BITTER. We even ran downstairs to buy milk but obviously, it was a waste of effort. Anyway, after making the cake, we waited for my parents to come back. Damien, being the little idiot he is, puts the candle into the cake and when my parents came home, I found out that he put in the candle. I acted like everything was okay but what I feared came true. Because the cake was hot, the candle actually melted on the INSIDE. I panicked and asked my mom to avoid the middle. She tried some of the cake, me and Gazel did too.....bleh. I don't actually like coffee but I think it would have been good. So....after that, me and Gazel did our own thing and after bathing, we thought of trying again.  This time, we didn't use any instructions. We used 2 tablespoons of self-raising flour and sugar, 1 tablespoon of milk, oil, and Milo, and some chocolate chips. Gazel added in peanut butter and a bit of water. Mine turned out okay and tasted good. It actually looked like cake! Gazel however, had a........pudding consistency and tasted like peanut butter jell-o. It was funny watching her react to it. I just let Gazel read this and she can't stop laughing. So, I let my mom, father and little brother try it and they said it was okay. Hell YEAH! So....yeah. I don't really have anything else to say. I hope you guys would watch the videos cause they're quite nice and it actually works~ Just, if you don't like things bitter, don't add too much cocoa powder and instant coffee powder. Instead, you could add in Milo~ I feel like I'm advertising for Milo. Anyway, I have to go bug Gazel cause she left her adapter free and I know that it gets problems easily. Bye~

Update:
Just finished bugging Gazel. She wacked me witha pillow....VERY hardly and my neck is sore.Don't anger an idiot with a painful temper. It feels okay already but I thought, "Why not have revenge with a little psychological torture?" I'm hiding myself and my computer from her, which is beside me, and she thinks I'm using the blanket to hide my crying and protect myself from her. It's VERY hot in here so I'm going to come out of the blanket. Because I don't want her to read this, I'm going to go now. Bye~

Are all men the same or is it just me?

I just finished massaging my dad's stomach awhile ago and that wasted more than 20 minutes if my time. I just gave my brother my earphones cause he wants to watch his show but my dad wants to sleep now. I told him that I was using them cause Gazel is asleep but instead of asking Damien to bring the computer outside where no one would complain(like I suggested), my dad asked me if I was actually taking priority over him with Gazel. The thing that annoys me most is that everytime I help him, he says good thing happen to good people. I have been massaging his feet every weekend or weekday, when he's home, since I was around 5-6. Ever since he became sick with some stomach illness, he has been asking me to massage his stomach and back using this annoying Yoko Yoko heating rub and it makes my hands unnaturally cold that I dislike it a LOT but he doesn't care when I tell him. Whenever I tell him I won't do something, he will immediately go into a "Then the next time you ask me for something, don't expect anything/ help from me." I find that extremely annoying. To make things worse, he always supports my brother unless it is extremely obvious that I should win the argument. Just yesterday, my brother asked me to let him play with Coco cause I have been playing with her all morning. Then, in the evening, I wanted to use the earphones but my father says that he should use them cause it belongs to him and he was using them first. What kind of excuse is this? I can confirm that my family is very double-standard like that. It's not only my dad. My mom is similar but I always knew that she would support him. He IS a mother's boy. Anyway, the only reason I say my mom would support him is cause of her beautiful saying,"He's younger so you should be more mature." Honestly, I hate that line so much. It's worse when you actually try to be mature, accidentally do something immature ONCE and get scolded for it. Sometimes, when I can't take it, I end up rebelling by going,"If I'm so immature, why not just treat me like a 10 year old?" or "I'm immature what, so why do I have to do this?" Obviously, I feel regret after thinking back but it's not like you can actually think rationally when you have been told this ever since you were 6. Another very common problem is the term 'good girl.'The most common thing is that when one person thinks I'm being good, another will think I'm bad. A simple example would be when my father asks me to wake up my brother for breakfast or for taekwondo class. My brother would complain and yell, my mom will scold me and my dad will say that I should have left it to my mom. Or sometimes the end would be my mom telling me to stop and leave it to her. Annoying. Truthfully, it's during those times where I feel like putting my foot down and yelling at them but, being an "immature" child, it's times like these where I wonder "When are the good thing going to come" or feel like giving  up and just kicking the bucket(if you know what that means.) Cause, if I'm dead, wouldn't they all be happier? I mean, yeah, they may be sad for awhile but at least it would make them realize their faults and love my brother more dearly. If I remember correctly, attempting suicide or committing suicide is illegal and you have to pay a fine. I have 1000 stashed up so I think that should be enough. My parents actually borrow from that fund but at least I know I have some way of paying them back. Maybe I should get a part-time job to increase the fund in case the fine is expensive. But I might get more stress and end up making myself even more annoyed and do it earlier than I should.Oh yeah, it's also was my mom's birthday yesterday (it's 1:27 here so...yeah)So HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, MOM.....Anyway, I'm sorry for the unbeneficial rant. I just wanted to get it all out. If you're still reading till here, thank you for reading. It really bring me joy knowing that there are some people that actually care. Anyway,my throat feels very dry now so I have to go. Bye~

GAZEL! You traitor!

So, the back-story is that last Sunday, we planned that Gazel, me, her boyfriend,Shido and 3 other guys would meet for a day at the Curve. We planned that we were going to watch Rise of the Guardians but when we reached there(by taxi), it seems that the guys had decided to watch Wreck-It Ralph. I wasn't happy but I let them watch it. After the movie, we all split as some of the guys wanted to do other things. So, in the end, I had dinner with Gazel and her boyfriend. First thing I'm going that it is awkward when you are alone and you have a lovey-dovey couple near by. Anyway, in the middle of dinner, Hatsune Miku-chan(not his real name.....obviously) came by cause he couldn't get a bus to go to work. He bought a drink(two tiny bottles of vitagen) and left again. After dinner, me and Gazel had to head home so we had to hail a taxi. My legs are still aching cause, unlike Gazel, I had taekwondo practice in the morning and my legs got pretty banged up during a fight. So, back to the taxi, it was cheap so that was good, but the driver's seat was pushed to the back so I had to squished my legs in an extremely uncomfortable position. We were stuck in the taxi for half an hour+ and now, my legs have been aching in the thighs for the pass two days.
Okay, now the reason why I'm pissed at Gazel. She went out with her boyfriend today and she's staying over. Yeah, I think I know what you're thinking and I'm not going to worry cause they're supposed to be staying at her bf's house where his mom, sister and father can be cock-blockers so I'm not as worried as I should be. Anyway, the both of us planned that we were going to watch Rise Of the Guardians together tomorrow BUT she went and watched it with him.
When I texted her awhile ago, I asked her what she was doing out of worry and she just typed back "Rise of the guardians X3" I felt betrayed. I know I'm over-reacting but I seriously felt my mood drop cause of it. I felt like I was a doll that just got thrown away. I just felt back-stabbed. I'm typing this all out so when I read this in the future, I might laugh about it but right now, I'm just upset and I feel like my heart dropped. Anyway, I'm also writing this cause I know that she won't be able to read it since she isn't here to see it and I doubt she's going to go and look for this since she doesn't even know what my blog name is. So, I'm going to go now before I start ranting again. Sorry for the long rant. Thank you for reading....bye.
